Southeast Sales Manager-MSP/MSSP

MAD’s Cyber Security Solution Team offers certified engineering resources dedicated to supporting your most complex IT Security requirements, including: 24×7 Managed Security Services, IT Security Product Integration and Tuning; Penetration Testing; Vulnerability Assessment and Scanning; Risk Assessments; Policy Development and Review; Security Operations Center Training and Evaluation; Security Architecture Review; and Cyber Lectures for security awareness.
This position will require the candidate to work from a remote office and travel to client sites for development opportunities.
The Southeast Sales Manager, Managed Security Services is responsible for developing, leading, and closing sales opportunities with small to mid-size businesses in the Southeast region. With the support of our Security Engineers and Demand Generation team, you will utilize a consultative sales approach to map out how MAD Security’s service offerings will meet the needs of the client. We are looking for a fully-qualified, experienced sales professional that is forward-thinking and has an expert understanding of selling solution based services in the cyber security sector.
-Identify all of the key technical and business influencers and present the MAD Security value proposition to clients
-Strong technical acumen (information security and technology, technology services, networking)
-Ability to manage the sales process with tight control over each stage
-Proven ability to sell cyber security services with a track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability
-Must have strong customer business environment acumen and be able to strategically discuss MAD Security solutions/service delivery capabilities as they relate to our security services and client needs.
-Manage activity and pipeline in SalesForce
-Bachelor’s Degree preferred and/or 8+ years of prior experience selling information security systems, network security, information security or managed services
– A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle
– Competitive, self-starter, hunter-type mentality, ability to maintain and foster long-standing relationships
– Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic realm, with easy adaptability to a variety of client settings and requirements. Previous experience in cyber security and/or information security services or knowledgeable in the following technologies: SIEM, Intrusion Detection, Vulnerability Analysis, HIPAA and/or PCI-DSS Compliance, Managed Endpoint Monitoring, Managed Antivirus, Intrusion Remediation, Backup Management
